How to send a voice message on Facebook in Chrome
- Open your Chrome web browser then go to the Web Store.
- On the Web Store, search for an extension called “Talk and Comment” by zaigood.
- Download and install the extension on your web browser.
- Once installed, the extension will automatically open a new tab. It will then ask you to click the “Allow” button in order for it to access your microphone.
- After which, you need to log in to your Facebook account. Facebook will then ask you to confirm the extension’s access to your account. Just click “Okay”.
- So that’s it. You are now ready to send a voice recording (a.k.a.) to any of your Facebook friends. To do so, just go to the sidebar where you can view your online and offline friends. Click on any of your friends to start a chat.
- As you can notice on the chat window, there’s a tiny mic icon next to the message field. Just click on that icon to start recording your voice message. After you’re done recording, click “Stop” then wait a bit until your audio file has been successfully uploaded.
- Once uploaded, you will see some text on your Facebook’s chat window that looks like this:

- Do not delete or alter the text. Just leave it as it is then press “Enter”.
- You’ll then notice that the text has been automatically converted to a voice message. Just click the “Play” button to listen to the voice message.
What’s even great about this method is that your recipient doesn’t need to install the same extension in order to listen to the voice message that you’ve sent using Talk and Comment.
In addition, the said extension can also be used to post audio status updates and voice comments. It’s a fun extension to try especially for avid Facebook users. Free asus recovery disk download.

With Facebook's video-calling feature, you have the option of chatting with friends or business associates while seeing what's going on in the background of their lives. If you're using the feature for business, you may find a time when you want to alter the sound of your voice to make it more appealing to a client or potential customer. To accomplish this, software that allows you to change your voice comes in handy. Once you've downloaded the right application, it's simple to plug it in to Facebook's video-calling interface.
1.Browse and then download the voice-changing application of your choice. Options include Voice Changer Software, MorphVOX Junior 2.7.5 and Fake Voice. After clicking the 'Download' button from the website of your chosen software, follow the onscreen instructions to download the application to your computer.
2.Open the voice-changing software and follow the prompts to adjust the pitch, timbre or volume of your voice. When you have created a voice setting that satisfies you, click 'Save Settings' or a similar function.
3.Log in to Facebook with your username and password. Navigate to your home page by clicking 'Home' from any Facebook page.
4.Click on the name of a friend in the list of online friends along the right side of the page and then click the video camera icon near the top right of the chat window that appears. This opens the video chat window.
5.Click the 'Microphone' drop-down menu near the bottom of the chat window and select the microphone that corresponds to the voice-changing software you are using. For example, the Voice Changer application's microphone appears as 'Avnex Virtual Audio Device.' When this microphone is enabled, the voice settings you created within the voice-changing program are applied to your Facebook video chat.
